[(Imbalance EP) RedWire ~ All You've Got (Original Mix)]

ok so this song is very epic, but theres a couple issues.

first off, nearly every section has some sort of really pad-y sound playing and while the pads go well with each part individually they kind of ruin the song as a whole (to a point). The buildup sounds great with the pad, and so does the drop. however, when both parts have the pad, they don't sound good together. the pad goes with the buildup really well, but when its also brought into the drop it completely diminishes the energy. if the pad is removed, the drop will contrast with the buildup more and the drums and the supersaws can have more room to shine through. another issue is that the drums are nice but their sort of analogish house/dance sound doesnt fit with the more cinematic sound of the synths. i suggest using a more low-end focused kick and maybe adding some effects to make the drums fit in better. for example, since a lot of the synths have reverb on them, you could add similar reverb effects onto the drums to give them the same feel.

overall I just suggest using sounds that fit together more with one another and changing what kind of sounds you use for the each section to add variation and make the sections flow together. other than that, the song is great and very enjoyable to listen to.

I agree that the pads might have been better suited to be left out of the drop. Some reverb on the drums also would've been nice. However, I thought the drums fit fine, idk I think that point really just boils down to personal taste. Thanks for the constructive criticism.
